Male vocal ensemble “Bajić” is a group of ten young music enthusiasts from Novi Sad, Serbia. Most of them are former members of the acclaimed choir of the gymnasium “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” in Novi Sad. After leaving the gymnasium choir, their love of choral singing gave them the idea of forming a male ensemble.

On the June 26th, 2012 a few peers founded a new vocal ensemble. Soon after its founding, the new group was joined by other members who sang under the name of another male vocal ensemble, “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj”,  in memory of a well known poet and doctor from Novi Sad. In order to be recognized as a separate group, the name was changed to “Bajić”, in honor of Isidor Bajić, a notable composer and teacher who contributed to choral tradition in Serbia and baron Miloš Bajić, a known Serbian benefactor.

The group's repertoire is composed of a wide variety of music genres ranging from pop and traditional music from Dalmatia and Serbia, to sacred (mainly Orthodox) music. They have preformed as guests at the concerts of the gymnasium “Jovan Jovanović Zmaj” and with the town string orchestra from Šid, at the festivals “Zov ravnice” and “Žilvernovske novonaseljske iluminacije” as well as the performances at the main square in Novi Sad.
