Tekirdağ Teachers Choir was established in 2019. The choir offers fun and music education through singing. They perform in various events in the town, but has also performed abroad. The repertory consists mainly of folk songs.

The conductor is Melih Patoğlu. He completed his music education at Gaziantep University State Conservatory of Turkish music and obtained MA in educational management and supervision from Hasan Kalyoncu University. He works as a music teacher in Tekirdağ.

Tekirdağ, the capital of Tekirdağ Province, is a city in Turkey and is a part of the region historically known as Eastern Thrace. Tekirdağ is situated on the northern coast of the Sea of Marmara, 135 kilometres west of Istanbul. The picturesque bay of Tekirdağ is enclosed by the great promontory of the mountain which gives its name to the city, Tekir Dağı (ancient Combos), a spur about 2000 ft. that rises into the hilly plateau to the north.
