Children’s choir "Dar" (The Gift) was founded in 2011 in Paraćin, Serbia. It brings together children from 6-14 years old from Paraćin and Ćuprija. Also there is a teen group whose members are 15-19 years old. Choir "Dar"’ has already won many important awards:
* Award for the best author composition at the Festival "Cricket" in Smederevo, Serbia, in 2012, 2013. and 2014.
* First prize at the national festival of choirs up to 11 years in Novi Becej, Serbia 2013.
* First prizes at the Festival FEDEHO Belgrade, Serbia 2014, 2015, 2016

Maja Nešić, MA,( may 1973) is the founder and conductor of the choir. She graduated from the Faculty of Pedagogical Sciences in Jagodina. She works in a primary school "Radoje Domanović" in Paraćin. She has many years of singing experience in different types of music and tries to share it whit children. Paraćin and Ćuprija are towns in the middle part of the Central Serbia of the river Crnica and Velika Morava, at the international Highway E-75 (Corridor 10). Children's Choir Dar is one of the youngest and most interesting organization for children and youth which brings together children from both cities.
