About

The chamber choir Cantabile was established in 2015. Its members are former members of The Children Choir Cantabile who attend secondary schools or study at universities now. The choir won a golden medal at International Choir Festival in Olomouc in 2016 and it gave a successful performance at the Czech Senate, the upper chamber of the Czech Parliament.

The choir conductor is Markéta Lásková. She has graduated from solo singing and piano playing at Brno Conservatoire.

Hranice is a small town with 20,000 inhabitants. It has a beautiful historical centre and lovely countryside. The Hranice Abyss is the deepest swamped cave in the world. The Teplice nad Bečvou spa is not far from Hranice. Patients suffering from heart diseases are cured there and spa also has many mineral sources and aragonite caves.
