The student choir “Ave Musica” was founded in the Christian Humanitarian-Economic Sciences University in 2007 by Savenko Sergei, student of the Odessa State A.V. Nezhdanova Musical Academy. He is a conductor, choirmaster, teacher, and winner of Ukrainian and international competitions. The choir actively takes part in the creative life of the University. It the seventh International Festival-Contest “Constellation of the Sea—Sun, Youth, Beauty”, Odessa (2008) and took part in the sixteenth Ukrainian Festival of Sacred Music “From Christmas to Christmas” Dnepropetrovsk (2009). The choir includes spiritual, classical and modern choral music, as well as folk song interpretations in its repertoire.
